Inspiration für diese Polka fand der Komponist in dem besonders schönen, sonnigen Sommer 2001 - ursprünglich für die Hochzeit zweier Musikerkameraden geschrieben. Die kurzen, fröhlichen Motive im ersten Teil sollen sowohl den Musikern als auch den Zuhörern die Freude am Leben vermitteln. Der gesungene Text im Trio unterstreicht mit der Melodie das gewünschte Lebensglück.
