Noten für Blasorchester Lascia Ch'io pianga
Lascia ch?io piangais an aria from the opera "Rinaldo" by George Frideric Handel. It was the first opera he wrote during his London period and was a great success in 1711, not least because the lead was sung by one of the most famous castrati of the era, Nicolo Grimaldi. Today it is most often performed by counter-tenors or mezzo-sopranos. It?s been used in many films, such as "Farinelli" and Lars von Trier?s "Antichrist".
