"Fiesta d'Alabastro" ist ein Werk für Blasorchester von Carl Wittrock, das er zum 75-jährigen Bestehen des Blasorchesters Sint Willibrord Lievelde komponiert hat.
The composition was commissioned by the wind band Sint Willibrord Lievelde for their 75th anniversary. Premiered in 2009, the band was very successful under Maestro Willem Loff, who conducted and brought its standard from the lowest to the highest division in Holland in a few years! Fiesta d'Alabastro opens with a fanfare. The oboe introduces a motive that appears in many variations throughout the composition. From a waltz through an adagio section, the composition ends with an energetic allegro. Every part stands for an episode of the history of this band and the village Lievelde.
